Valencia for a Month
In all our travelling, we've never spent more than a couple of weeks in a single place. We would have felt that to be a waste of time. You see everything you need to in a few days right? As we shared our trip plan, there were two distinct camps on a month in Valencia.
- A whole month in Valencia? Why?
- A whole month in one place? Wow!
There's a luxury to not just visiting a place, but living in it. Moving slowly. Staying in and cooking some nights. Leaving certain sights or experiences for a later date.
For us, Valencia was a solid candidate for this kind of long-term stay. It's a neighbourhood driven city, with unique pockets that serve different sorts. The weather ranges from warm to hot even in October. It's wildly walkable (and thus strollerable) with wide sidewalks under shady trees.
We're new here still, but on this first night, we brought the girls down to a playground filled with kids, long into the night hours. So we're excited where this will go.
