She's Three

Today's Nora's birthday. She kind of understands. She gets the idea that we're celebrating her. She understands that three is bigger than two. Jo reached out to our friends and family and got people to record little happy birthday wishes. We've now watched that 4 minute video 17 times (an actual count).

Here's how her day went:

• We started the day with donuts, balloons and a new bright red scooter that she's been asking for.
• We scooted to McDonalds for some chicken nuggets and a visit to the play place.
• We went to some parks and took a seista.
• Then capped the day off with a pasta dish at an out of place Italian joint.

She's an incredible little girl. She has her mum's empathy and chatterbox nature, and my curiosity and chaotic energy. It's nice when you really like your kids.
