Petting Zoos and Pincer Grip
At the top of Marjan is an adorable zoo. To get there, you need to a scale a few dozen sets of limestone stairs. Stroller above my head, we climbed away, passerbys smiling at my heroic feat of fatherhood. Nora cried because she was worried I'd drop the family stroller.
We got to feed all sorts of animals, from goats to horses to ponies. Jo loved it, Maeve was fascinated and Nora was up to cheer along (from a few steps back).
Maeve's developmental leaps have been wild recently. She's now actively pulling on anything she can reach to get to standing. More impressively at dinner tonight, she took things into her own hands (literally) and grabbed her fish between her thumb and pointer finger. Pincer grip activated.
Highlights
๐ฝ๏ธ Fife (Split) - large plates of quality ingredients, tomato salad was surprisingly delicious and Maeve ate most of it herself.
๐ฝ๏ธ Luฤica (Split) - dockside spot that's busy with the locals, full squid.
