Pasta Please

All I want to do in Italy is eat pasta. There's so many shapes and sauces. Every bite is so unique. Most of our dinners now consist of bread and four pastas, each brought out one at a time so we can enjoy it fully.

Regarding pasta shapes, here is my personal grades:

  • A: thick long noodles (pici), rigatoni, gnocchi.
  • B: ravioli and all shapes that enclose filling, also spaghetti
  • C: every corkscrew / penne / extruded shape (bad sauce retention)
  • D: fettuccine (you should be lasagna)
