Hills and Strollers

Hills and Strollers

Google Maps has failed us. In Lisbon, there is no good way to plan a route for your stroller. You can't use walking mode because it includes stairs. You can't use car mode because most streets are one-way, and you can't be promised a sidewalk. Not sure how cycling mode works, but it was equally lame.

I remember in 2016 when Jo and I were here last, we loved the hills and climbs in our daily walks of Lisbon's old town. With two kids, diaper bag and stroller, that becomes more complicated. It's not the first time the stroller has been swept over my head by Jo juggles two tiny people up 10 flights of stairs. But we're adjusting to more shoulder carrying, and keeping the stroller at home.

Highlights

🍽️ Bonjardim (Lisbon) - We ordered three whole chickens. And I could have ordered more if I drank another bottle of wine. Best chicken of my life. Jealous that Nora only had to search for less than 3 years to experience it. She needs more hardships.

☕ Copenhagen Coffee Lab (Lisbon)️ - Luxurious breakfast plates, with buns, yogurt, pastry, egg and more. Sit in the plaza and occassionally kick a pidgeon.
