Finding Friends (con't)

With our Scottish friends heading back home, we've been back on the hunt for kids our daughter can talk to. After some borderline uncomfortable online dating on BumbleBFF, we found a Facebook group of mums in Valencia. Jackpot.

A couple of Whatsapp conversations later, and Jo had organised a get-together in a local park. A glorious gathering of English speaking kids looking to run circles around each other.

A lot of people move to Valencia with kids. Some for jobs. Some for the family-friendly culture. Others like ourselves on vacation. And now Nora has a bunch of new buddies to play with. She'll sleep well tonight.
