Don't Go Inside

Hot take incoming. We're realizing that we get 80% of an attractions value without going inside. Neither Jo or I are the biggest tourists in the most literal sense. And we've made decisions on this trip not to wait in line, buy hawked tickets and shuffle mindlessly through churches. That works for us.

The outside of these major landmarks are usually the more spectacular parts, and getting two girls under four to appreciate the gravity of their surroundings is less than easy.

So for now, we stay outside. And that works well for us.
