Croatian Pubs aren't Great
Today was the first day of Ireland's Rugby World Cup campaign, so we got the whole family dressed up in green. Nora has a new tiny kit, and it's adorable.
There were two Irish pubs we noted in town, and neither delivered for us. We couldn't even get into the first as their license didn't allow for kids... What is going on in there?
The second warned us that bringing kids in was on us, as it could get dangerous (is someone going to punch by baby?). While the game was on the TVs, they refused to play the audio, instead opting for a looped playlist of delightful death metal. Also, people were smoking in the pub. Inside. At the tables. The waiter gave us as ashtray. After 30mins we left.
Instead, we ate delightful sardines on the steps of the square, and hunted out more burek - Maeve loves meaty pastry.

Highlights
đ˝ď¸ No.11 Food & Bar (Split) - delicious breakfast, acai, eggs and parfaits.
đ˝ď¸ Misto Street Food & Bar (Split) - incredible sardines, the first Croatian wines I've really loved and lovely staff
No pubs will be listed here in protest of today's debacle.
