Barcelona Bites

Barcelona Bites

And we're on the move again. No longer lingering at the slow pace of Valencians. With a month of this adventure left, we have three final legs ahead. Barcelona. Rome. And finally Florence.

In Valencia, we took the pace down and found a comfortable rhythm. Well now that we're on a trip again and not just on vacation, that pace needs to increase a bit. One thing that's been different off the bat in Barcelona has been access to good food. In Valencia, nothing worth eating was available until after 8PM. The sheer volume of tourists that come through Barcelona give restaurants reason to stay open longer. So today we had incredible tapas at 5PM.

It's different, but welcomed.

Highlights

La Bodega d'en Rafel (Barcelona) - Great local place, filled with locals (obviously). Day time staff are a little gruff, and not everything on the menu is available. But whatever is, is incredible.

Caravelle (Barcelona) - Brunch / lunch spot. Very slow paced. Great coffee and bites. Hard to get a seat.
